Ambrosia Maple River Table

This custom dining table was made for a client that liked the look of epoxy river tables, but does not like epoxy. The client also really likes the look of ambrosia maple and walnut wood together. So we designed this “river” table to use ambrosia maple as the primary wood with a walnut “river” going down the center of the table. To keep most of the attention on the top, we then chose solid cast iron legs for the base. They provide a rock solid foundation for the table and the black finish really looks nice in contrast to the top.
