Walnut & Maple Coffee Table

This custom coffee table was designed in conjunction with the client with some specific details in mind. Specifically, a place to store the ottoman when not in use.

The table is constructed of solid walnut wood and ambrosia maple. The ambrosia maple was repurposed from a table project the client had built themselves years ago, but that was damaged in a move. We were able to salvage enough of the pieces and resaw them to make book matched panels for the the frame and panel design. The left and right compartments hold books, magazines and remote controls. The finish is a hand rubbed oil and satin poly finish.
