Building a modern console table out of solid walnut

This mid-century modern inspired coffee table is built from solid cherry wood and features a glass top.

Inspired by a big box design, I worked with my client to customize and redesign this mid Century modern shelf unit to fit her specific needs. Made of solid cherry wood and finished with a natural oil and wax finish.

Mid Century Modern style is really popular and, when done right, can look really nice and last a very long time. In this post, I work with a client on upgrading her bedside tables to her own custom “adult” bedside tables.
